The answer to todays question is…A hurricane hitting Mexico
Todays question is… What gets less media coverage than a hurricane hitting Atlantic Canada???
Now with this question and its answer I am not “dissing” Mexico but rather questioning why a disaster about to happen is only news if it hits America…
As soon as Kyle decided not to visit Maine it seemed to be quickly NO LONGER NEWS…
If you are looking for Hurricane Norbert you better look hard because although the National Hurricane Center lets us know it should hit the Baja Peninsula of Mexico early Saturday Morning as far as I can tell thats the only news you will find. I’m guessing that once it lands the Ghouls will be there with the videos of the suffering and deceased….
Now it also seems that there is no planned Amateur Radio Response for this as well. Now of course the ARRL and RAC would have nothing to do officially as this would be the domain of the Mexican Goverment and whatever their national amateur radio organisation would do… I just thought a request for clear frequencies would be coming out by now…
Or is this just a “non event”?
