Right now there seems to be a wealth of information and well intented best guesses and comments about the new 5000 line of Yaesu Radios/
So far the best I have found so far is on the Yahoo Group
Everything is still best guess and speculation but there seems to be some “Leaked” information on the Group that has peaked my interest. I recommend you sign up to the group and become informed.

How does it compare to the K3 ?

Not sure how it compares to the K3 performance wise but willing to guess thats its going to be a wallet buster. The 950 is about 1500.00, the 2000 is between 2600.00 and 3300,00 depending on which model and not counting options. The 9000 starts at 5700.00 with the bigger output model going for 11000.00 so i’m going to guess somewhere arount 4000.00 to 6000.00. Liz would not be happy with me if ….
