Hearing a “W2″ station work a “VK” station on 40m and not even hear a change in the static level every time the W2 turns it back to the VK. It was a great one way conversation cuz I could only hear one side of it…
On the brighter side of things the W2 station was fairly close in to me so the 40m band is shortening up a bit…
To be honest I am not even sure if the VK station as down under… But the W2 did not identify him as a a portable…
