If you remember back to around lets say March 20th when I mentioned some missing Executive Meeting Minutes and then I touched this again on March 24 when the minutes were posted so I thought that would of been the end of it…
WRONG!!!
It seems the monthly minutes have now been moved to the “Members only” section and you have to be a member to sign in and view the information. Now in prinicpal I really don’t have an issue with that but it does make you wonder… If I wanted new people to join my organisation I would make sure that anyone who had doubts of how well things were run would be able to look at stuff like monthly minutes, financial reports etc and be reassured that there is solid management at the helm…
Personally I have not seen anything that would lead me to believe that we do not have competant management but I am wondering about the person who is deciding how to invest his hard earned Fifty Bucks and when he wants to look at RAC and see how they are doing he can’t because all the good stuff is in the members only section…
Now perhaps the moving of the data to the members only section had been planned for a while but… It seems strange that right after I complain and then the problem is fixed they take the data and relocate it to a closed to the public area…
I guess the new management still has a few bugs to get out of the system…

You make an excellent point, Bob. And you’re not the only Radio Amateur who is concerned about this apparent move to secrecy.
This does nothing for the RAC’s credibility.

Thanks for dropping in for a visit Bob… And congrats on the milestone I read about in the TCA…
There is only so long the membership will let things “slide” under the guise of “a new executive” and then the protests will start most likely by not renewing memberships…
We can’t afford this to happen so I hope everything comes together….

ps …. As it stands right now I could be a bit north (about 1 hrs drive) of you around the end of June…. If I head home on Monday or Tuesday the 28th/29th and take the southern route home…. Coffee???? and a chat????
