I am taking the summer off and will not be sending out my Directors Report for July and August but I will resume in September.
But the big event coming up in a few weeks is the RAC Western Canada Conference slated for August 10,11 and 12 in Edmonton. It is being held at Concordia University of Alberta and full details are at the web site.
Some of the guests slated to attend are Geoff Bawden, VE4BAW, President RAC, Dave Sumner, K1ZZ, ARRL CEO, Peter Hill, Industry Canada, Spectrum Management. There will also be several RAC Directors and other members there.
ICOM Canada, Kenwood and Alpha Radio have also donated some impressive door prizes as well.
Please forward this to any Amateurs who will be in Alberta or suddenly want to go to Alberta!
