Graham...Congrats on the contact Guaranteed I won't get them in the log on 30m.... The YL you worked is a real CW Buff... check out her QRZ site...

http://www.qrz.com/db/SV2KBS

I've had really good luck with the contacts with them with tonight getting them on 40m ssb... Yesterday I got 17m and 20m ssb and I started out with them on 6ssb...

Not QRP levels but 100w into the S9 Vertical on HF and 100w into a homebrewed dipole on 6 so I am pleased...

I wish more of these DXPeditions were like this one but i think having it in Canadian Waters off the east coast helped...

Evening Bob,

finally made a contact with CY9M on 30m CW. Funny thing, I sat down at the radio after supper this evening and put the radio on 10.116 and there she was, belting out CW contacts one after another. I off set my TX clarifier on the FT-950 just a bit more than 2 khz, power was set to 5 watts, made one call and BINGO - I was in the log.

I said she because it was Victoria SV2KBS operating and what a competent CW op she is!

Sometimes it just seems too easy!

cheers, Graham
