This Saturday starting at 2000 utc and running through till 2359 utc will be the Southeastern VHF Society 6m sprint. I have participated in this one before and its a great way to spend 4 hours. If the band is open you can have a lot of fun in a short time and if the conditions are not the best you will still have fun with the local contacts…
This is also a great way to test out your 6m antenna before the ARRL VHF Contest on September 8th…
I will be somewhere for the sprint this year… could be at home or if I’m lucky could be some place a little higher but wherever I am … Fun will be a major component of the evening…
