From the reading I&#039;ve been doing I don&#039;t think it&#039;s the radial pattern that matters.  It&#039;s the number of radials laid out....it&#039;s not even the length.  

I&#039;ll bring you some reading materialto Chilicon.

Thanks...  This one was work...  i gotta figure out a way to get more radials out for the higher bands...  The antenna is lacking a bit on 10-12-15 but on 17-20-40-80 its just a fantastic antenna...  Has to be the radial pattern or the amount of radials...

Sometimes you can get the QSO within a hour and if your out of luck it could last days or sometimes not at all. This must be very rewarding...now waiting for the confirmation QSL. 73, Bas]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[That&#039;s awesome Bob,  I also had a nice QSO on the weekend I was running Portable and got ZL2WL Wayne from New Zeland in the log I was running 20 watts on 20M into a dipole at about 12feet and he couldn&#039;t hear me so I bumped up the power to 60W and he heard me then gave me a 3x1, I gave him a a 5x7. I was extatic all morning.
