And its not even April 1st…
Saw a picture of the FT 898 today and its about as good of a job as the earlier FT 818 hoax was around April 1st…
Once again the photo shop types are giving us something to look at… Now if they could only learn the simple spelling rules…
“I” before “E” except after “C” would go along way when spell Transceiver…
Once again the artist has copied some features from the ICOM IC 7XXX line of radios… Last time he did it with the IC 7000 display and now it looks like some of the 7400 and the 746…
and just to remind you about the other hoax the FT 818
So the bottom line is don’t rush out to sell your toys to buy the new toys…. Or you won’t have any toys…
Disclaimer… Anything is possiable but one would think we would of heard something about this at Dayton or at the recent show in Japan… Also if it was real the spelling mistake in Transceiver would of been caught by someone in marketing or quality control…
So…
I guessing its a fraud… and a hoax…
