If I had been a bit more active over the Christmas Holidays one of the things I would of mentioned with you was the two major snowstorms that occurred…. It seems that one couple headed out to do some snowshoeing and got into trouble…. As it turns out Amateur Radio played a small part in this as the searchers were from Global 1 SAR which is a local Search and Rescue Group. This group has many Amateur Radio Operators in their ranks as they understand the need for good communications in the field…
